Research Requests Are you curious about the stories of the past? Or the stories of your own family?
We are more than just our exhibits. We have volunteers dedicated to the history of Mangawhai and Districts, as well as to the genealogy of its inhabitants. We steward a collection of artefacts, archival documents, photographs, and stories, but they belong to Mangawhai.
We can’t always accomodate every request, but contacting us is the best way of finding out how we can meet your needs.
Requests for copies, especially photographs, may require permissions and a fee.
