Disabilities & Accessibility:
Everyone is welcome at our Museum. This includes disabled people and their supporters.
Here are some of the things that we do to make sure your visit with us is comfortable and enjoyable:
* There is no charge for a carer or support person accompanying a disabled visitor
* You may exit and re-enter the museum as often as required without needing to pay another admission. This includes making arrangements to return and finish a visit the next day if needed. We know this is particularly important for visitors who may experience over-stimulation, seizures, or other interruptions to their experience
* We support the use of the Hāpai Access Card to make it easy for you to tell us about your access and support needs
* If you don't have a Hāpai Access Card, you can still tell our volunteers and staff about any access or support needs you have, and we'll do our very best to support your visit
* We are happy to help you plan your visit for a time that works best for you. Our museum is generally the busiest 10:00am-12:00pm, and quietest 3:00-4:00pm.
We look forward to welcoming you soon!
